Mohair & Alpaca Throws

Mohair and Alpaca are luxury fibers that are durable and hard wearing. They can last for a very long time with proper care.

Mohair and Alpaca fibers dry well and resist shrinking. Unlike Wool, Mohair fibers have no scales to catch and retain dirt. A vigorous shake will dislodge most dirt particles.

Your Mohair or Alpaca Throw can be dry-cleaned.

Washing your Throw:
Soak in lukewarm water using mild detergent recommended for washing wool.
Shake the throw very gently to dislodge dirt particles.
Rinse in clean, cool water and spin to remove any excess water. A small amount of fabric softener may be used.
Hang or lay flat to dry. When dry, shake or gently brush the throw with a stiff hair brush to restore the pile and ease out any tangles.

Do not tumble dry.
