Product FAQ
Lands Downunder Throws are woven with exceptional fibers, expert craftsmanship, and close attention to every detail. To us, heirloom quality means creating something worth keeping—a beautiful piece that can remain part of your home for years and can be passed down for generations.
Lands Downunder Throws are woven in Italy, New Zealand, and Portugal, depending on the collection. We partner with exceptional mills chosen for their expertise, craftsmanship, and long tradition of textile making. The country of origin for each throw is listed on its product page.
Our collections include throws woven from alpaca, mohair, cashmere, wool, cotton, and carefully selected fiber blends. Each material brings its own character, from lightweight softness to rich texture and loft. You’ll find the exact fiber composition and details for each throw on its product page.
Consider color, texture, material, and how you want the throw to complement your space. A subtle neutral can add softness and dimension, while a richer color or distinctive weave can become a statement of its own. Each Lands Downunder collection offers a different look and feel, making it easy to find a throw that feels at home in your space.
Start with the colors already in your room and decide whether you want your throw to blend in or stand out. Neutrals create an easy, layered look, while color can add contrast, warmth, or personality. Because woven fibers can have natural depth and variation, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting and your screen.
Lands Downunder Throws are designed to be gifts that last well beyond the occasion. Beautifully woven, available in a wide range of colors and styles, and made with exceptional attention to quality, they make thoughtful gifts for weddings, housewarmings, anniversaries, holidays, and other meaningful moments.
Personalization is available on select Lands Downunder Throws, making an already special gift even more personal. Eligible styles can be embroidered with names, monograms, dates, and select designs, with a choice of thread colors to complement the throw.
Care instructions vary depending on the fibers and construction of each throw. Always follow the care instructions provided for your specific product to help preserve its color, texture, and appearance for years to come. Care details can be found on the product page and product label.
